Eat a healthy meal before your treatment to avoid lightheadedness and avoid fatty meals prior (good and bad fats).
2. 🚫 Avoid Blood-Thinning Agents
-
Refrain from taking aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, or other NSAIDs for 3–7 days before treatment (unless medically necessary—consult your GP).
-
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior, as it can thin the blood and affect platelet quality.

Limit caffeine intake on the day of treatment.
3. 💊 Medications & Supplements
-
Avoid supplements that may increase bruising (e.g., fish oil, vitamin E, garlic, ginkgo biloba) for 3–5 days prior.
